This is because the hospital is supplied with power primarily through Ngong Road feeder from Nairobi West Sub-Station and Hill II feeder from Cathedral Sub-Station. In the event of power failure from one sub-station, there is instantaneous auto changeover to the other feeder through a switch based at the hospital, and this is not noticeable at the user end."}
