However, by virtue of making contributions to this nation in one way or another, all of us are shareholders. That is why I am thanking the President of the Republic of Kenya. I was elected Vice-Chairperson of the Public Investment Committee on Commercial Affairs and Energy. I have been informed that this Committee has a backlog that needs to be cleared. With my professional and academic experience in finance, I believe I can add value to the Committee and reduce the backlog. This country has invested a lot in many agencies, and the feedback that needs to come from them can only be obtained through audited accounts. Hon. Chair, I again thank the leadership of this House."}
