As I stated earlier, Ms Hanna Wendot tendered an apology on 14th of April, the same day of the vetting, on her X handle, @hannawcheptumo. She said, ‘First and foremost, I sincerely apologise for this statement, and wholly withdraw it. No woman deserves to be killed under any circumstances.’ The apology is on her X handle for Kenyans to read. I thank the Members for the support they have expressed for these two nominees. We congratulate them and ask that as they get into public office, they should serve with dedication."}
