I start by appreciating and thanking Sen. (Prof.) Ojienda for his generosity in allowing me to co-sponsor this Bill with him. When I first set out to propose amendments to this Bill, I was informed by the office of the Legal drafter that the Senator for Kisumu had already proposed certain amendments to the Sports Act as it is. For concurrence purposes, I had to liaise with Sen. (Prof.) Ojienda just to agree primarily on the need to co-sponsor this Bill"}
