It drove through the four districts of Kirinyaga; through Ngurubani, Kimbimbi and through Kutus, which Gichugu shares with Mwea, and Kerugoya/Kutus. It drove through Kerugoya, Kagumo and, finally, it entered Nyeri East District or Mathira and ended at Karatina. It is as if the security apparatus had gone to sleep. I understand that the police on roadblocks were removing the roadblocks to let this convoy pass as though it was a presidential motorcade."}
