Osogo, who was then the Minister for Agriculture. Again, Parliament found that it was dangerous for SGR to go without food. A Member of Parliament that day moved an amendment, which led to the current status of the NCPB, but because Mr. Onyango Midika had been talking about serious matters, a few years later, due to the process of re-organising NCPB, there was famine in this country and Mr. Moi, then President, brought in yellow maize."}
