By doing that, areas like Coast Province and other Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs) have been knocked out. It will be very difficult to see someone from Kwale, Lamu, Tana River or North Eastern Province attaining a C+ in order to qualify for admission in teacher training colleges. That is why we have very few teachers from these areas."}
