There was a matter that was brought to your attention by the hon. Gitobu Imanyara regarding a Petition by the Mau Mau war veterans that has been pending before this House. I had brought it over two years ago. This particular Petition had been referred to the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, but there has been a stalemate in that Committee. The matter has been pending for over two years. Tomorrow is Mashujaa Day. I would really appreciate it if you gave further directions on the matter. Perhaps, that Petition could be referred to the Implementation Committee for action."}
