In order to make this a reality, I have proposed to amend the Capital Markets Act to allow for a regulated commodity futures market. This measure will go a long way to facilitate the establishment of a futures exchange to serve as a platform for trading futures contracts of multi asset classes such as currency, minerals and energy derivatives."}
