We have been able to draw a chart that indicates the actual shortage of teachers in every district. I would like to give you a few examples. Unfortunately, for Mr. Chanzu, Vihiga District has only 441 slots. There are other areas that have above 500 teaching slots: Kilifi, 821; Malindi, 539; Kitui, 838; Mutomo, 532; Yatta, 548; Igembe, Meru North, 916; Kibwezi, 552, Tigania, 538; Trans Nzoia West, 733; Naivasha, 677; Molo, 1,100; Narok South, 618; Kisumu East, 1,422; Siaya, 1,172; Nyamira, 850; Bungoma, 969; Busia, 648; and Bungoma North, 529.
