An amendment cannot be a complete opposite! It totally negates! Finally, I want to say this: Even when the Speaker has approved a Motion, we, as hon. Members, can point out to the Speaker where we feel that the amendment is a negation of the question proposed. The Speaker has, on many occasions, overruled Motions that he had approved. So, could the matter be referred to Mr. Speaker?"}
