I have no quarrel with your September 6, 2007 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES 3759 ruling and I withdrew the amendment. I am not seeking to resurrect it. But the point is this: Our amendment was, in fact, improving on the numbers that were proposed by the amendments by the Attorney-General. So, when my amendment fell by the wayside because it has been withdrawn, it is the right of this House to debate the amendments proposed by the Attorney-General and decide on whether this House will agree to the number of judges being increased from 50 to 70!"}
