The Government has no immediate plans to tarmac the Lunga Lunga-Kinango Road. However, the Ministry plans to undertake feasibility studies on some main roads in the country, with a view to prioritising them for upgrading to bitumen standards. That will include the Lunga Lunga-Kinango Road. Meanwhile, our engineers are assessing the repairs required to restore Lunga Lunga-Kinango Road to good motorable conditions, together with other roads affected by the rains in the coastal region."}
