I am happy with the answer. Why can the Ministry not allow traditional birth attendants to operate from hospitals? In most cases, the traditional birth attendants follow-up on the expectant mothers from the homes to the hospital or dispensaries where there are no qualified personnel. That was the question I asked, but the Assistant Minister did not answer it. I know they are supposed to attend to expectant mothers in homes, but if they follow-up on them in hospitals what is the problem?"}
