{"id":24072,"url":"http://info.mzalendo.com/api/v0.1/hansard/entries/24072/?format=json","text_counter":101,"type":"speech","speaker_name":"Mr. Abdikadir","speaker_title":"","speaker":{"id":1,"legal_name":"Abdikadir Hussein Mohamed","slug":"abdikadir-mohammed"},"content":"Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 20 of the Bill be amended- (a) in Subclause (1) by deleting the words “at least two newspapers” appearing after the words “in the Gazette and in” and substituting therefor the words “electronic and print media”; and (b) by deleting Subclause (2) and substituting therefor the following new Subclause- “(2) The notice referred to under Subsection (1) shall be in the prescribed form and shall specify- (a) the day upon which political parties shall submit a party list in accordance with Article 90 of the Constitution; (b) the day for the nomination of candidates for the county elections; and the day or days on which the poll shall be taken for the county election, which shall not be less than twenty-one days after the day specified for the nomination under paragraph (b)”."}
