(3) In the absence of both the chairperson and the vice-chairperson at a meeting of a body, the members present shall elect a member to chair the meeting”. Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, the import and the justification of this is that the above corrects a drafting error to ensure that at all times a meeting of any body created by the Act has the person presiding, whether or not the body has vice-chairman."}
