The Minister is a highly experienced person with all due respect but I am sure he is fully aware of some of these laws that are very oppressive which were passed a long time ago. It is within his powers to recommend the same to the Attorney-General for repeal or adjustment of such laws. Is he in order to plead with the House to understand that we should obey a law that is now decadent? Already, an officer has contributed towards pension for over 20 years and I believe he could take a position or even promise to look at the possibility of reforming that law."}
