As they prepare to take up their new positions, I would like to ask them to ensure that the Kenyan flag flies very high within the EAC. They should represent us as a country. For those who tried and failed, I will tell them tomorrow is another day. They will live to fight again. I want to thank my colleagues for the manner in which we conducted these elections. The campaigns were very quiet but very intense. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to say congratulations to your office and the Clerk’s office. I say congratulations because the process was free and fair, and everybody in the country was watching. I congratulate those who have been elected and wish them the very best as they start work in their new positions. Thank you."}
