In fact, I have not, at any given time and the HANSARD will bear me out, talked about the chief executive officer of the bank. I was talking about the composition of the members of the board, both the executive and non- executive, and the chairperson being appointed by the President and approved by Parliament. In that amendment, I feel that there is, therefore, a clear need to include a representation of the board by the Deputy Governor to guard against the board composition that is skewed towards representation of non-executive members. This again comes because of the corporate governance across the world. This happens in Nigeria,"}
