{"id":338675,"url":"http://info.mzalendo.com/api/v0.1/hansard/entries/338675/?format=json","text_counter":580,"type":"other","speaker_name":"","speaker_title":"","speaker":null,"content":"THAT, Clause 6 of the Bill be amended:- (a) in sub-clause (1) by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (e)- (ee) the Principal Secretary in the Ministry for the time being responsible for livestock; (b) in sub-clause (1) by deleting sub-paragraph (iii) of paragraph (h) and substituting therefor the following new sub-paragraph- (iii) two persons co-opted by the Board who may be non-citizen scientists in the field of agriculture and possess such knowledge and experience as may be necessary for the better carrying out of the functions of the Board; and (c) by deleting sub-clause (3) and substituting therefor the following new sub- clause- (3) The Secretariat of the Board shall comprise of the Director-General, the Deputy Director-General (Livestock), the Deputy Director-General (Crops) and other staff."}
