{"id":338766,"url":"http://info.mzalendo.com/api/v0.1/hansard/entries/338766/?format=json","text_counter":671,"type":"speech","speaker_name":"Mr. Mututho","speaker_title":"","speaker":{"id":97,"legal_name":"John Michael Njenga Mututho","slug":"john-mututho"},"content":"Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 37 of the Bill be amended- (a) in paragraph (a) by inserting the words “including proceeds from patents and breeders rights” immediately after the words “functions under this Act”; (b) by inserting the following new sub-clauses- (2) The allocation of resources to the two directorates shall be done on a pro rata basis depending on the contribution to Kenya’s gross domestic product by the crop and livestock sectors, respectively; and, (3) The Public Finance Management Act, 2012, shall be applicable in the management of financial resources in the sectors at all levels."}
