(a) The Ministry of Trade is tasked to spearhead and implement the following three flagship projects:- (i) The creation of at least, ten hubs and 1,000 to 1,500 producer business groups with a pilot project in Maragua to be extended to other regions later. (ii) The building of at least ten tier one markets with a pilot project in Athi River and the construction of wholesale and retailer hawkers markets in selected urban areas. (iii) The establishment of special economic zones in Lamu, Kisumu and Mombasa."}
