Speaker, Sir, I wish to request for a Statement from the Chairman of the Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs. Article 2(5) of the Constitution is very clear. In fact, it provides that:- “All general rules of international law shall form part of the law of Kenya”. Kenya is a signatory to the Rome Statute. It has gone further and domesticated the Rome Statute by enacting The International Crimes Act. I would like the Chairman to clarify the following issues in view of the recent developments:-"}
