I rise to support the Motion. First and foremost, I want to congratulate the Mover. As you are aware, 65 per cent of the population of this country consists of the youth and majority of them are not employed. I want also to inform the House that it is so unfortunate today that the youth agenda is being discussed as a Private Member’s Motion. As you are aware, the entire economy is driven by the youth and I want to thank the youth for the civil manner in which they have conducted themselves against all odds during the just concluded elections. I also want to thank them and particularly those in my constituency for the support they gave me. About 65 per cent of my supporters were the youth and I want to thank them very much."}
