However, when we talk about accidents on our roads, as a House, we need to look at more sustainable and permanent solutions. I know that in the short-term the Government has resorted to construction and erection of speed bumps wherever there is an accident on any section of our roads. However, I think it goes beyond construction of speed bumps. If you look at the problem we have on our major highways in terms of the accidents involving heavy vehicles--- I am looking at the tankers and trailers; you will find that there are a couple of reasons for which, I think, this Government needs to act."}
