What we produce in this country is table sugar. I think this business of syrup sugar is a foreign product and this is what actually has undermined the production of sugar in this country. For the sake of farmers, if we zero-rate this sugar that means that the farmers will not be able to sell their own sugar and that is why we have had a problem. Therefore, I oppose this amendment."}
