I want to propose that once we increase the unit cost of milk from Kshs27 upwards, the Government should come up with a way of guiding the cost of the products in the supermarkets. This is because we may end up increasing the production cost. At the same time, since we are in a free market economy, the middlemen and businessmen will end up increasing the price. To avoid a situation where a litre of milk in a supermarket costs Kshs100, the Government should come up with an innovative way of capping the price at which milk can be sold in a supermarket."}
