However, I am sure in the subsequent statute, which was the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act of 2009, the element of public funding was provided to entirely give the Media Council of Kenya a self regulatory mechanism, of course with an oversight by the Government and that is where we are coming from."}
