Temporary Deputy Chairman, I oppose because whenever the courts make decisions on compensation, they take into account many factors. For instance, if I lose my face it may not amount to much because people think we are ugly as politicians but that is different if a news presenter has a cut on his or her face. However, if you have this which does not take into account such, I oppose and I think this is what I was saying at the beginning, that we needed to have had input by the Law Society of Kenya (LSK). We were asked to declare our interests, I want to declare that I have never practised. I have never been an ambulance chaser but I am a defender of victims of crime.
