(b) I am not aware whether the employer visited the employee in the hospital or not or whether he paid the hospital bill amounting to Kshs364,287.57. (c) I intend to take no action as assault is a criminal offence and cannot be reported to my Ministry since it was not a labour related matter. I have established that the matter is being handled by Gigiri Police Station under criminal case No.1893/10 and has already been filed in the Chief Magistrate’s Court, Kiambu. I also wish to confirm that the injured person was reinstated and resumed duties on 26th February, 2011."}
