We want to set up a model city so that we can benefit from the ICT. It will be a centre of excellence in the field of the ICT. It will also be a centre for research in this field, because it is a new area, where technology moves very fast. For us to be able to leapfrog in terms of technological development, we need to identify a very special area, and we have zeroed on the ICT. So, the physical facilities will be set up by the Government; that is roads, energy, water and so on. It will then invite companies to come and invest in Konza. There will be incentives to attract these companies to invest there."}
