Temporary Deputy Speaker, when we speak about marginalization, sometimes, people just think of North Eastern and coastal areas. The county I come from, which is Nyandarua, is among the three counties in the country, the other ones being Tharaka-Nithi and Tana River, that do not have county headquarters. Nyandarua has for a long time remained marginalized. The offices that were being used by the then local Government - Nyandarua County Council - were in Laikipia. As we speak now, our county is actually hiring some flats somewhere in the county headquarters called Ol Kalou."}
