First, I want to put it on record that the Matrimonial Property Bill will not affect me and my colleagues in the Islamic faith; but because I am a leader of a huge group most of whose members are my colleagues, there are two reasons why I oppose this deletion. Whatever agreement was reached before marriage--- Maybe, coercion, fraud and unjust means were used; there must be a fall-back position or redress for two couples. By deleting that, you are closing the door.
