Therefore, the Committee should not be unfairly accused of having tribal leanings. We are dealing with a very important matter. Maize is a staple food for this country. I always put ugali on my table, which is made of maize flour. So, maize is that important to us. For somebody to demand payment, first of all, was there really a famine? Somebody must tell us. Whether that happened ten or 20 or 50 years ago, this is the Parliament that will ask that very important question: Was there a famine or was the story just created, as the Committee has ably established, for some people to line their pockets?"}
