Wastage of resources in this country, be it material or human or monetary resources; stands at 30 per cent of the annual revenue. So, once enacted into law, this Bill will do a lot. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, the issue of corruption can also be addressed through this Bill. What comes from the top is gravity-assisted. What moves upwards from the bottom needs some kind of prime mover and engine to push it upwards. Therefore, in order for us to fight corruption effectively, a strong and clear tone should come from the top. It will be gravity-assisted, so that we set the expectation as to where we want to go, as a country. We should commit the necessary resources for the institutions that are supposed to deal with corruption and follow through commitment without exemptions. With those very many remarks, I beg to support the Bill."}
