For the interest of hon. Senators, I would like to refer them to Article 174 of the Constitution that speaks to the Objects of Devolution. Mr. Speaker, Sir, Article 174(b) of the Constitution says:- “The objects of the devolution of government are- (b) to foster national unity by recognizing diversity; The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
