I have had an opportunity to move around that region and the constituency that I represent. You will see people living in abject poverty. It really touches oneâs sympathy. When you go round, you will find a family with two acres of land under cane and has a child or a relative who has passed away from a simple disease like Malaria. They cannot raise Kshs200 to take that patient or relative to a health centre for that disease to be treated. Yet, that person has two or more acres under cane."}
