People in the former lower Eastern Province have been complaining about the Kibwezi-Kitui-Mwingi-Maua-Ethiopia Road. It passes through where the coal, limestone, and iron ore have been discovered. I want the Jubilee Government to listen to this: Tarmack this road as quickly as possible, so that the Government can exploit those minerals. You cannot exploit minerals using earth roads. We call it corporate responsibility; where you get resources from put money back there. Now that mining is about to start, the biggest single request that the people of lower eastern are making is: Let the Kibwezi-Kitui-Mwingi-Maua-Ethiopia Road be tarmacked, so that we exploit these minerals.
