Speaker, Article 232 of the Constitution is very clear in terms of giving equal opportunities for all. I think it will be a wonderful idea. There is a scientific research which has been done and it has shown that when women are in a leadership position, there is a high probability of them performing better than men. The fact that this commission is very critical, especially in our polarized political environment, it is my humble request that we have a lady to chair it. Looking at what Kibunja did last time, at some point it was a great disappointment. I know he tried, but this time why do we not give a chance to this lady and we are told she is the youngest. So, hon. Speaker I support this. Another issue is that I was looking for somebody with disability. I am told Erick Oluoch Ogwang is disabled, I think that is a tick, the Committee did very well.
