If you look at the relevant Standing Orders, you will notice that it is not mandatory that the Prime Minister must deliver a Statement when we get to that point. So, given the prevailing circumstances, he has left to attend to a matter that is urgent and of critical national importance. In those circumstances, there has been communication from the Prime Ministerâs Office that he will not be able to deliver this Statement today. It will, obviously, be delivered at the earliest opportunity, which we anticipate will be during Prime Ministerâs Time next Wednesday. So, Members will have to bear with him. Next Order!"}
