Going ahead, Clause 15 says that we are going to appoint a Senior Deputy Auditor- General. That office may not have a problem but we are saying that, in the appointment of this officer, the Auditor-General must, again, consult the Public Service Commission, thus eroding the independence of the Office of the Auditor-General."}
