Birdi. It is true that our weighbridge stations are havens of corruption and congestion. Motorists and truck drivers waste a lot of time. The Gilgil weighbridge is notorious. At times, the hon. Members who go to Nakuru and western Kenya witness the snarl-ups, which cost drivers in excess of four hours. As an economy, we cannot afford to have someone who is going to undertake some business spend four hours in a traffic snarl-up. I wonder why adequate measures have not been put in place to ensure that there is a smooth flow of traffic around that area.
