I support the amendment to Clause 45, which reads:- “All procurement processes shall be undertaken in strict adherence to Article 227 of the Constitution”. Other than complying with the budgetary allocation, Article 227 of the Constitution anchors public procurement to law by adhering to the principles of efficiency, transparency and subjecting procurement processes to competition so that we can have value for money.
