Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 62 of the Bill be amended— (a) in sub-clause (1) by inserting the following new paragraphs immediately after paragraph (f)— (fa) force majeure; (fb) civil commotion, hostilities or an act of war; (fc) upon receiving subsequent evidence of engagement in fraudulent or corrupt practices by the tenderer;” (b) by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub-clause (3)— “(4) An accounting officer shall notify all persons who submitted tenders of the termination within fourteen days of termination and such notice shall contain the reason for termination.” The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
