In the Statement, the Chairperson should explain:- (1) The Government of Kenya position on the use of GMOs technology for food production. (2) State whether Water Efficient Maize for Africa (WEMA) is a GMO crop and if so, what is the Government’s position on its production and use; and, (3) He should also explain the steps that the Government is taking to ensure food security in the country."}
