Further to the point of order raised, Standing Order No. 225 paragraph 5 says that a Senator presenting a petition shall not speak for more than five minutes unless with the permission of the Speaker. Paragraph 4 gives the provision to table the Petition, if it is very lengthy. I believe that is why paragraph 4 was put there. If it is very lengthy, the Senator can lay it on the Table so that we can go through it."}
