I beg to give notice of the following Motion:- THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing on its consideration of Protocol on Development and Operation of the SGR within the Framework of Northern Corridor Integration Project laid on the Table of this House today Tuesday, May 26th 2015. Pursuant to Section 8 of the Treaty Making and Ratification Act 2012, it approves the ratification of the Protocol on Development and Operation of the SGR within the framework of the Northern Corridor Integration Project. I would like to add that this matter be treated with urgency by the House Business Committee (HBC) and be given priority. This is because the Heads of State of this region are meeting in Kampala, Uganda on 2nd June. It is also important to note that other countries have already ratified the Protocol. This matter was brought to the attention of the Committee the last week when we were going on recess and---"}
