I request members of the delegation that when your name is called out, you stand so that you may be acknowledged in our usual Senate tradition. We have the following:- (1) Rt. Hon. Lord Steel of Aikwood - Member, House of Lords, UK; (2) Rt. Hon. Baroness Armstrong - Member, House of Lords, UK; (3) Hon. Pauline Latham - Member, House of Commons, UK; and, (4) Hon. Gavin Shuker- Member, House of Commons, UK The delegation is accompanied by: (1) Ms. Hatty Cooper - Head of International Outreach at Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA-UK); and, (2) Ms. Racheal Cox - Africa Programme Manager (CPA-UK) The Members are in Nairobi to attend a roundtable Conference on gender quotas in Parliament which has been organized by CPA-UK and the Kenya Women Parliamentarians Association (KEWOPA), which concludes today. Honorable Senators, I take this opportunity on behalf of the Senate and on my own behalf to wish the delegation a happy and fruitful visit not just to the Senate but to this beautiful country called Kenya.
