My good friend, the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), will agree with me. As a Member of Parliament for the last seven years, I have never seen a Bill as voluminous as this. However, I have seen a Bill as small as one page and one sentence. I would like to thank the legal minds in the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs. This is what makes the difference between the National Assembly and the Senate. I am sure that they are watching. This is the kind of legislation that comes through the National Assembly; it is not something given on a silver platter. It is the Constitution that has given us the mandate, and we have no intention of going on a referendum to seek more powers. The powers we have are enough."}
