You should liaise with him today so that when he gives that statement he indicates the deadline by which you would want to interact with Members. I suggest, without giving direction, you have a date with Members so that they can prefer their amendments with your Committee. Many of them may drop or sustain their amendments, depending on how you will convince them based on the information you will have from the experts on those issues. So, you probably want to get in touch with the Leader of the Majority Party so that when he makes his Statement tomorrow, that information will be forthcoming to all Members in the plenary so that everybody is aware of the direction we will take.
